The offer gives you 40% off, up to $15 off each order.

  • Your order must total at least $10.
  • Your first order coupon is valid through December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.
  • Your second order coupon expires 14 days after you place your first order, or on December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT (whichever comes first).
  • The offer excludes restaurant orders and alcohol.
  • Costco orders of $10 or more receive 20% off, up to a maximum of $15 off each order.
  • Customers must place the second order within 14 days of placing the first order, and both orders must be placed no later than 12/31/2026 at 11:59PM PT.
  • The offer is only available on Instacart.com or the Instacart app.

Eligibility

This offer is available to select customers who—

  • Have a personal Instacart account with a US address.
  • Haven’t placed an order yet.
  • Have not been offered or redeemed an alternative new-user offer.

The offer doesn't apply to Instacart Business accounts, orders on a retailer's own storefront site, or accounts in Canada. Not all customers who meet the eligibility criteria will see this offer.

Finding your offer

To see the offer on your account—

  1. Log in to the Instacart app or Instacart.com.
  2. Select the account icon.
  3. Select Credits and promos.
  4. Your welcome offer, if available, shows here, along with its expiration date.

Switching your offer

New customers may see one of two offers:

  • $0 delivery fee on your first 3 orders (Service and other fees apply)
  • 40% off your first two orders (up to $15 each)

Saw an ad for $0 delivery fee on your first 3 orders, but your app shows 40% off? You can switch to the $0 delivery fee offer by clicking here or following the steps below—

  1. Go to Credits and promos.
  2. Click “Not seeing the offer you expected?”
  3. Tap Confirm offer change.
  4. Look for the Offer confirmed message.

Before you switch:

  • You must switch before you place your first order.
  • You can only switch once.
  • Switching replaces your current offer. You can’t keep both. After you confirm, your original offer is gone and can’t be restored.

Terms and conditions

Terms: 40% off is valid only in the United States for your first 2 Instacart orders of $10 or more each, up to a maximum of $15 off each order, with one retailer (excluding Costco) per order and purchased through Instacart.com or the Instacart app, while supplies last. Costco orders of $10 or more receive 20% off, up to a maximum of $15 off each order. Customers must place the second order within 14 days of placing the first order, and both orders must be placed no later than 12/31/2026 at 11:59PM PT. Discount will be applied to the total purchase price for all non-alcohol products, and excludes taxes, service fees, special handling fees and/or other fees.
