It’s easy to update your profile information on Instacart. 

Updating profile information

To change your name, email address, or phone number, follow these directions.

In-app

  1. Tap the Account icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Personal information.
  4. Tap the information you’d like to change.

Update name—

  1. Enter your first and last name. 
  2. Tap Save.

Update email address—

  1. Enter a new email address and tap Continue.
  2. To make this change, we need to verify your identity. Select if you want to receive this code via email or phone.
  3. Enter the verification code.
  4. Log in using your new email address and select Continue.

Update phone number—

  1. Enter a new phone number.
  2. Tap Continue.
  3. Enter the verification code.

On the website

  1. Click the 3 horizontal lines in the upper left corner.
  2. Click Account settings.

Update name—

  1. Click Change next to Name under Personal information.
  2. Enter your first and last name.
  3. Click Save.

Update email address—

  1. Click Change next to Email address under Account information .
  2. Enter a new email address and tap Continue.
  3. To make this change, we need to verify your identity. Select if you want to receive this code via email or phone.
  4. Enter the verification code.
  5. Log in using your new email address and select Continue.

Update phone number—

  1. Click Change number next to Phone number under Personal information.
  2. Enter a new phone number.
  3. Click Verify number.
  4. Enter the verification code.

If you use Facebook or Google to log into your account, you have to update your information in those accounts.
