Saved and shopping lists

You can make personal, shareable, and reusable shopping lists to easily buy your favorite items. Lists can be public or private, but both are shareable with friends and family. 

Private lists are not searchable, not discoverable, and can only include 1 store. Public lists are searchable and can include multiple stores.

Saved Lists

Creating lists

Tap the Account icon.
Select Saved Lists under Collections.
Tap the + icon in the upper right corner.
Choose your preferred store  Create a title for your list  Add an optional description
Select Next to add items to your list You can have a total of 30 items per list
You can choose items through— The Suggested, Buy it again, or Favorited sections within lists or  The item detail view	Item detail view
Once done selecting items, select Done. The list items are saved under Your lists.

Adding items from your list to your cart

You can easily move items from a list to your cart. 

Select the list that you want to add items from
Select View all #xx items
You can either— Select the + next to each item to add them separately to your cart or Select Add #xx items to cart to add all of the list items to your cart

Shopping lists

If you have an iOS device, you can use Siri or Spotlight Shortcuts to add items directly to your Shopping list in the Instacart app. Just say “Siri, add [item] to Instacart” or search “Instacart” on your device and tap Add to list. Tap View list to open your list in the app. 

Once you’re in the app,  you can access your shopping list in 2 places—

Search bar	Account > Shopping list under Collections

On the Shopping list screen, search for the items you want to add or choose an item from the Suggested list. Tap the green + icon to add the item to your cart.

You and other members of your family account can add to the shopping list. You’ll see their initials next to items they added.
