Starting June 11, 2026, the Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) will automatically block online and out-of-state SNAP transactions.
While this is in effect, EBT SNAP cards cannot be used online or outside of Mississippi without unlocking your card. Note, pickup orders are treated as an online order so these transactions will also be blocked by default.
To make a purchase using your EBT SNAP card online or outside of Mississippi, you must unlock your card in the ConnectEBT mobile app (Android, Apple), the ConnectEBT online portal , or by calling the EBT Cardholder Assistance number at 866-512-5087.
